Jordan Pitt is a London based actor, who trained at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School. He began his career at the tender age of 11, making his debut on the West End's London Palladium in Lionel Bart's award winning musical, OLIVER!

In 2012, Jordan took part in the annual international script writing competition, The Sitcom Mission, which took place at the New Diorama Theatre. He was amongst the cast of the winning sitcom YO VALET.

In addition to the stage, Jordan was nominated in the category of Best Male Actor for film in the 2011 BEFFTA awards. Most recently he appeared in the new UK feature film MONTANA, directed by Mo Ali. Other film credits include STORMHOUSE for Magician pictures and the gritty urban tale, RIOT. Jordan also teamed up with award winning filmmaker Greg Hall and featured in the short film BRUISED, where he was able to merge his skills in combat sports with his acting career and choreographed his first fight scene.

Jordan has also expanded his interests into writing and producing, and has launched his own film production company, One Umbrella Productions. His first film LOST WORDS was shot in the South of France in 2011, and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in the following year. He has since then completed his second film project AMBITION TO LIVE, directed by Fraser Ayres and co produced with BBC's Holby City actor Jimmy Akingbola.

My most recent project is playing the role of Joelle, the Mum of the lead character Deon in an independent feature film about a teenage footballer who struggles for years with his mental health following a tragic incident. The film is partially completed and is due to finish filming in 2022. Further details of this project are available on Instagram @deonfeaturefilm.

I have appeared in a number of short films and a corporate video and am about to start filming for another feature this month. I had a supporting role in Iris Prize-nominated short film 'Dragged Up', a powerful story about family, identity, and drag produced by the National Film & Television School. Also a lead role in 'Change', a short film about inequality in the world of ballet. In the past, I was a member of local theatre companies in Cardiff where I had supporting roles including Midsummer Night's Dream, Caucasian Chalk Circle, and Stepping Out.

I have been training at the Identity School of Acting since January 2021 and have previously been a member of Anarchy Actors Studio. Anarchy provides genre-based training and character development both in-studio and online. Weekly improvisation exercises and scenes are available on a personal Vimeo channel (details on request). I have previously attended several acting classes with City Academy. I have recently completed Voiceover training with Gravy for the Brain and the Voiceover Network.

I am a mum of two. A native South-East Londoner now based in the South-West London/Surrey Border, close to the M25, and I have my own car. I work part-time in HR for a family of specialist education providers for children and young adults with special education needs and disabilities (SEND). I have a particular interest in equality and diversity and am keen to be involved in projects that are representative of this. I am represented by Sam Simmons at Pride in Performance. I have been double vaccinated against Covid-19.

Mitte was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He was delivered by emergency caesarean and was not breathing at the time of his birth, which resulted in permanent brain damage. He was adopted a few weeks later by Roy Frank Mitte Jr. and Dyna Mitte, who later separated. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three, and doctors put his legs in casts for six months in an attempt to straighten his feet.

Mitte was fitted with leg braces and used crutches throughout most of his childhood; however, over time, his body became stronger through sports and exercise; he no longer needed any walking devices by his teenage years. In 2006, he moved with his family to Los Angeles, where his younger sister Lacianne Carriere had received an offer for a role in a film project.

For fun, Mitte began training with Los Angeles talent manager Addison K. Witt in Sherman Oaks, Cal. And though many of the actors in the studio were working actors, Mitte was using acting as a means to build friendship with kids his own age while living in a new city. At the encouragement of Witt and talent agent Debra Manners of the Daniel Hoff Agency, Mitte began auditioning for commercials and TV shows like Grey's Anatomy (2005). Mitte tried his hand at background roles and became a regular student on the popular Disney show Hannah Montana (2006), later being romantically linked to the show's iconic star, Miley Cyrus.

Mitte was cast as Walt White Jr., a series regular, and character with cerebral palsy on AMC Network's Breaking Bad (2008). And though Mitte has a mild case of the same condition, he had to do what all actors do: research the character and even relearn many of the challenges he had endured as a child in order to convey a more pronounced version of CP.
